This is Thunder. I was working and found him on a sidewalk, flopped over on his side like a tiny drunk. It was cold and rainy and there weren’t any other birds around so I kept an eye on him, but I just couldn’t leave him there. So I brought him home. We fed him some mushy cat food and took some photos and giggled, and then we brought him to a bird rescuer. He’s gonna be just fine.
This is my fiance Emily. It’s probably the most honest portrait of her I’ve gotten so far. It was taken in the common area of her dorm room with a Canon 5D mkII.
